IndexGPT, was introduced in a U.S. Patent and Trademark filing on May 11 by JPMorgan. The bot through a SaaS service provides temporary use of online cloud computing software using AI for use in computer software selection of financial securities and financial assets,β the patent file noted.
Β· It features software using artificial intelligence for Generative Pre-trained Transformer models in the field of financial services and βprovides consumer product information for the purpose of selecting AI hardware and software to meet the consumer's specifications; software as a service (SAAS) services featuring software for analyzing and selecting securities tailored to customer needs.
Vanda, which monitors activity of nonprofessional investors, looked at media mentions about AI since October alongside net purchases of AI-sensitive stocks by retail investors. "The craze seems to have only sparked a marginal increase in retail buys, at least for now," Vanda's SVP of research, said. "Indeed, overlaying news mentions vs. retail flows into AI-linked stocks and ETF shows that individual traders are thinking twice before jumping into some of these names."
